Tayah Fiveland is from Pigeon lake, Alberta and is in her first year playing with the Vikings, playing primarily as a forward. She has enrolled in Bachelor of Arts, majoring in Psychology and one day hopes to become a Nutritional Psychologist. Fiveland chose to come to Augustana for the small town feel and the reputable basketball program and coaching staff. 

Tayah played on Pigeon Lake regional high school basketball team placing bronze (2017 and 2018) and fifth (2019) in 2a provincials. 

When Fiveland is not on the basketball court you can find her playing board/card games, hanging out with friends, or watching greys. Her favourite movie is Mamma Mia and her favourite food is pizza or steak. 

One of her most inspirational quotes is: “ If there was no tomorrow how hard would you play today?” 

Tayah is supported by her parents Stacey and Darren and her three siblings Chelsea, Keegan and Kale.
