I am a shooting guard

2. How long have you played your sport? Where did you play your high school and club sport?

I have played basketball since I was 7 years old. I played at the Estevan Comprehensive Highschool and played club for Golden Ticket Basketball.

3. What are your personal goals as a player at Augustana?

My personal goals are to become an overall more stronger athlete and to keep up with my academics while bringing energy to every practice/ game and supporting my teammates.

4. What academic program are you enrolled in and why?

I am taking a Bachelor of Science and majoring in Physical Education. I want to learn about the body and how it moves, especially during physical activity and hope to eventually help others understand their bodies and live a healthy active lifestyle.

5. Why did you choose Augustana Campus and the University of Alberta?

I met the coach at a summer camp for my club team and really enjoyed the way she coached us. I also chose Augustana for the smaller class sizes and to be able to connect with more people.

6. Who is someone that inspired you to play?

My highschool basketball coach inspired me to play at the next level. She wanted to give me the opportunities she had and pushed me everyday to be a better athlete and person.

7. What other hobbies do you have?

I have many hobbies including volleyball, softball, golf, playing the piano, ukulele and going to the gym.

8. What drives you to succeed?

I always want to do my best and excel at everything I do and seeing the results of all the hard work I have done is very rewarding. I also want to make my support system proud and their encouragement drives me to want to push myself to be the best I can be.
