2. How long have you played your sport? Where did you play your high school and club sport?

I have been playing for about 6 years. I played high school at Ecole Camrose Composite Highschool and club through Vikings Athletic club and AB Elite. 

3. What are your personal goals as a player at Augustana?

My personal goals as a player at Augustana is to improve my own personal skills; more specifically, my ability to create opportunities for my teammates on the court, as well as developing a competitive and successful team off the court. I believe this will ultimately leave me with lasting memories and life experiences I could only gain through sport.

4. What academic program are you enrolled in and why?

I am enrolled in a Bachelor of Science in Biology. I am taking this course because I am passionate about science and helping others in my community. I am using this course to gain more knowledge about specific areas I am interested in so I can eventually enter a career in the healthcare industry. 

5. Why did you choose Augustana Campus and the University of Alberta?

I chose Augustana because I was looking for a smaller and more connected campus which also had a variety of courses which appealed to my interests. I also grew up in Camrose and enjoy being around my community. 

6. Who is someone that inspired you to play?

My parents have inspired me to play basketball through their constant support in my athletics throughout my childhood, which has encouraged me to pursue college athletics. 

7. What other hobbies do you have?

I enjoy baking, running and reading. 

8. What drives you to succeed?

My competitiveness drives me to succeed. I love competing and getting the opportunity to work toward completing the task at hand and I am always open and grateful for new challenges.
