I’m a Libero!

2. How long have you played your sport? Where did you play your high school and club sport?

I have played volleyball for about 10 years now! I played for Memorial Composite Highschool and Pandas volleyball club! But I played 5 years at Briercrest College, but due to an injury in my freshman season I only used 4 years of eligibility so I’m able to play my senior season at Augustana! (Sorry if that’s way too much info…)

3. What are your personal goals as a player at Augustana?

I want to play my last year of competitive sport and have a ton of fun with the girls and get to meet a totally new team! Also would LOVE a couple gold medals :)

4. What academic program are you enrolled in and why?

I’m enrolled as a special student, so I already have my degree in Psychology. But will be taking more psychology classes. 

5. Why did you choose Augustana Campus and the University of Alberta?

I chose to transfer because it is closer to home and I know this team can be very successful and do great things this year!

6. Who is someone that inspired you to play?

My best friend Allison played volleyball before me, so I have her to thank.

7. What other hobbies do you have?

I make a mean batch of cookies and I really love cooking as well. Otherwise I enjoy working out and travelling when I can!

8. What drives you to succeed?

When others around me are bought in and want to compete. I love seeing other girls who want to work hard and win, that really makes me want to strive for success.
