Vikings Athlete of the Week - Mackenzie Mrazik

CAMROSE, AB - After a dominant performance this past weekend, Mackenzie Mrazik has been named this week’s Vikings Athlete of the Week, presented by Domino’s Pizza.

Mrazik has been a force to be reckoned with throughout her Vikings career, and this season is proving no different. After battling through a pre-season injury, the fifth-year guard has returned stronger than ever—leading by example and helping the Vikings women’s basketball team maintain an impressive undefeated 5-0 start to the season.

This past weekend, Mrazik delivered a standout performance, leading her team in scoring with 14 points, while adding 5 rebounds and 5 assists to round out a well-balanced game. Her ability to impact both ends of the floor and elevate those around her has been instrumental in the team’s success.

Now in her final season with the Vikings, Mrazik continues to set the standard for what it means to be a leader—bringing consistent energy, encouragement, and confidence every time she steps on the court. Her experience and composure under pressure make her a cornerstone of this Vikings lineup and an inspiration to her teammates.

Catch Mackenzie and the rest of the Vikings back in action Friday, November 14, as they return home to face off against the St. Mary’s Lightning at 6:00 p.m. in what’s sure to be another exciting matchup!
