CAMROSE, AB - After a dominant weekend sweep over the Concordia Thunder, third-year middle blocker Jack Hoebers emerged as a key force for the Vikings, delivering an outstanding performance at the net. Hoebers finished the weekend with 11 kills while posting an impressive .550 hitting percentage, showcasing both his efficiency and composure in the middle.
Anchoring the Vikings’ offense, Hoebers was nearly flawless, committing just two errors across the entire weekend. His ability to convert opportunities at a high rate consistently put pressure on the Thunder defense and played a major role in the Vikings’ commanding performances. Hoebers’ presence in the middle proved difficult to contain and set the tone for the team’s offensive rhythm.
With contributions like Hoebers’ leading the way, the Vikings currently sit third in the ACAC standings and continue to build momentum as January comes to a close. As the season intensifies, the team remains focused on maintaining this level of play and sharpening their execution in preparation for the push toward championship season at the end of February.
