As a returning athlete, Corrigan hopes to ski as much as possible, improve technique, and have a competitive race at the Birkebeiner.

Kate was on the Dean’s List for the 2018/2019 academic year, as well as the recipient of the Glynne Jones Memorial Award for her commitment to outdoor leadership and being an active participation in student activities. Kate is the President of the Augustana Outdoors Club as well as the Volunteer Coordinator for the Camrose Ski Club.

When she is not on the ski trails, she can be found procrastinating school work by watching The Office for the millionth time, guiding a raft down the Athabasca River, or outdoor skating as she is a retired competitive ringette player. Her favourite book is Into the Wild by Jon Krakauer, her favourite movie is Dinner for Schmucks, and her favourite food is Annie’s white cheddar mac and cheese.

Her favourite inspirational quote is “you miss 100% of the shots you don’t take”- Michael Scott.

Kate is supported by her parents Rob and Maggie, siblings Elizabeth and Peter, and her grandparents Don and Jean. She is also supported by her roommates, Chelsea, Sarah, Eliana, Nathanael, and Braeden as well as their house peregrine falcon Chewy.
